INDIGO
Guard Replacement Model:
In
this example, photoelectric beams and long-range
Passive Infrared Motion Detectors (PIRs)
protect the perimeter of the property while wide-angle PIRs
protect areas close to the structure. When an intruder breaches
the perimeter, there are several ways the system can respond.
Motion-detected
lighting can be activated, or PA speakers
can deliver a recorded verbal message instructing the intruder
to leave the area. Inner sensor cameras
record the incident and
immediately transmit video to the 24-hour RVM Central Station
for further intervention.
The
system’s two-way voice technology allows the Central
Station to speak directly to the intruder in real-time.
“To
the person in the green ball cap and blue pants.
This is private property. You are under video surveillance
and are being recorded. Please leave immediately!”
After
all these measures, if the intruder refuses to leave, the
Central Station can notify the
authorities. The overall result is a PREVENTION
of break-ins, vandalism or theft.
